I don't know...

After last night, I don't know whether to start an "Actual Play" thread over at the ACKS board.  On the one hand, it is sort of like the original "Blackmore Bunch" getting exiled to Lake Gloomy after letting Castle Blackmoor get sacked.  On the other, cutting off a prince's head in the middle of an awesome pie shop is a bit embarassing.

  1. Okay, I couldn't resist, I posted the logs of our first two episodes over there.

  2. I don't know if this represents the highest or lowest point of my gaming, but it was certainly one of the most amusing.

  3. I'm pretty sure it points out our deep-seated mental problems and would probably earn some psychotherapist millions.

    1. Well, we murdered the nephew of the king, fought our way out of the city, and kidnapped the niece of the king for nefarious purposes.

So basically, yeah. We've pissed on the biggest kingdom in the area (not to mention the biggest market for buying/selling stuff). But on the plus side, my character is the most recognizable one out of the group, so the small army of bounty hunters that'll come after us will start with looking for me.

    2. Oh yes, we've decided we can't even profit from the kidnapping. If we ransom her back, that just gives the bounty hunters (at the least) or the king's army (at the worst) a target to find us at. If we sell her to the barbarians for a slave, they'd just as likely slit our throats as pay us off. If we sell her to the evil warlocks for some evil spell component/sacrifice, they could just melt our face in order to get their hands on her.
