The State of the Lords

The November schedule impasse is nearly over and I thought I'd give an approximate feel or forecast of how I see things shaking out.

  • Sunday December 1:  I'm going to be painting miniatures and terrain, anyone who's free and interested in joining me, drop me a note to tell me you're coming.

  • Greyhawk Campaign: since Dave H. Is no longer able to GM, we will probably wind the game down after a few more sessions.  I will run an adventure on December 8, and we'll see what the state of other incipient campaigns might be.

  • Jason's Monster Hunters: Jason is planning a Savage Worlds campaign, don't know when he'll be ready to go, but we're looking forward to it.

  • Five Torches Deep:  Andrew and I have recently discovered a rules liter version of 5e with some old school flair.  We're hard at work planning an in depth campaign.

  • So, schedule is up in the air, if all my dreams came true, we'd play 5e through December, play Jason's game from January till Spring and start 5 torches in spring sometime.  But the forces of events may not work out that way.

  1. January is a good start for me. Basically everything I've done so far has been jotting down notes at work, but I'm thinking I've gone about as far as I'm going to be able for that. I've got the character creation rules worked out, and a few other rules roughed out. I've got the first three adventures down (except for actually generating stats for things), and another six roughed out. I'm going to borrow gear heavily from our last campaign, simply because the list in the book is somewhat lacking in the period I'm setting the game.

  3. Not sure if anyone travels from York City, but I won't be able to drive for at least another couple weeks. If someone could offer a ride to and from Dave's, I'd be glad to accept.
