The State of the Lords

The November schedule impasse is nearly over and I thought I'd give an approximate feel or forecast of how I see things shaking out.

  • Sunday December 1:  I'm going to be painting miniatures and terrain, anyone who's free and interested in joining me, drop me a note to tell me you're coming.

  • Greyhawk Campaign: since Dave H. Is no longer able to GM, we will probably wind the game down after a few more sessions.  I will run an adventure on December 8, and we'll see what the state of other incipient campaigns might be.

  • Jason's Monster Hunters: Jason is planning a Savage Worlds campaign, don't know when he'll be ready to go, but we're looking forward to it.

  • Five Torches Deep:  Andrew and I have recently discovered a rules liter version of 5e with some old school flair.  We're hard at work planning an in depth campaign.

  • So, schedule is up in the air, if all my dreams came true, we'd play 5e through December, play Jason's game from January till Spring and start 5 torches in spring sometime.  But the forces of events may not work out that way.

Meet Lodge 1234

Here's a picture of Lords of Hack Lodge 1234. You'll all recognize Quinton second from the right. The other faces from left to right are Dan, Kayla, Nate, Justin, Quinton, and Connor. Over the next few months I'll do my best to introduce you all to each other.

Schedule Apocalypse--See You All in December

What ho folks,
It seems that Colonel Leslie's Final Secret will have to wait until December.   Nearly everyone has come down with schedule conflicts of one form or another.

I've decided that the next Official Game will be Sunday, December 8th, 4pm.   I will run my D&D adventure.   I will defrost the hot dogs and have  Free Hot Dog Day then.

As a bonus, if anyone is free and interested, I am also going to host a paint and build day, Sunday, December 1, regular time and place, if anyone is interested in doing a little miniatures painting over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Official Preview: Next Sunday's Game--Colonel Leslie's Last Secret

Captain Sparkle Rainbrite has gotten an urgent message from his parent's favorite sibling, Colonel Leslie.  Sparkle must race to meet the colonel at the Silver View Tower, overlooking the Sheldomar River to thwart a danger to the family.   Gathering what friends there were, Sparkle wasn't prepared for what enfolds at the Tower...

Get ready for non-stop action and FREE HOT DOG DAY, next Sunday 11/10.

A Formal Apology to Conquest Games

Upon further examination of my newly purchased of plastic Norman knights, I discovered the dead guy is not included in the advertised 15 knights, but it is pure bonus.

My rant from last Sunday night is retracted and I apologize to the fine folks at Conquest games.
